Self-Selected Reading

I had my sophomores choose their own books for this next mini-unit. I'm trying to get them focused on reading as a writer and in reading what they are actually interested in. So far, they seem to be on-task. I'm just hoping that this all works out. It's really tough to juggle 75 different books.

I had a similar experience in high school. We thought it would be an easy "A", but it turned out to be a very challenging, but rewarding episode in my education. Good luck with it. I hope they get out of it as much as I did.
