After going with kids to a speech and debate demo event on Saturday, I just can't wait to get started this year. I went to the Policy Debate and Public Forum (PuF) Debate sessions, and then to a session about duo interp and storytelling. Some of the events are old for me, others are brand new. All in all, I'm just glad to have a chance to help out and to coach.
We're just about to get into the season, but I'm really excited. I just hope I can coach the kids well enough in all of the intricacies of speech or debate.
