Today started out with so much promise.
We're studying point of view and perspective in the writing class I'm teaching and so I thought it was a great time to watch an educational film that showcases those topics well. Hoodwinked. One of the funniest films of all time. I enjoyed it. The kids enjoyed it. We even get to finish it up tomorrow, spreading the joy to yet another day!
And then we got to the afternoon. In my first legos class of the day (5th hour) a girl got spit on a chair. So they stayed in at break to clean all of them.
Then, 7th hour, just when I thought we were almost done for the day, I had a girl who licked/spit on a boy. Why oh why oh why.
