Happy Independence Day!

Huzzah!

The Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays. Granted, I love most festive occasions, but I love so much about the Fourth. We have so many family traditions that are tied into this holiday.

This year my family got together, once again, to watch fireworks from the roof of my house. My oldest sister didn't come this time, which was sad, but the rest of my family was there. It just feels so good to be able to all get together. Before I get too mushy, I think I'll go to list format.

Things that I Love about the Fourth:

1. Beautiful fireworks
2. Patriotic songs
3. 1776 with William Daniels and a cute, cute Thomas Jefferson
4. I get school off
5. Getting up on our roof to see the fireworks
6. Barbecue
7. The stars after the fireworks are over
8. The car alarm during the fireworks
9. Historical type films and documentaries on tv
10. Reading the Declaration of Independence

*This picture is not from my house, sorry to say, but we do get to see pretty cool fireworks from the roof.
