Somehow, I always seem to volunteer to make a fool out of myself. Let us count the ways this year alone that I have put myself in front of hundreds of people to do potentially embarrassing and possibly life-treatening activities.
1. Student/Faculty basketball
2. MAP (Missouri Assessment Program) American Idol (not lip-synching, singing)
3. Student/Faculty volleyball
Okay, so it's only three, but really, think of the things that could happen during a game. Think hard.
But, none of them did. Turns out I'm a star. To quote my kids:
"Did you used to play volleyball?"
"You were the best of all the teachers!"
"Wow, Miss A! Great slide!"
"You served that ball all over the court! Great job!"
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
Wahoo!
Superstar!
